Members Car Draw To Cease After AGM
Our Members Car Draw has been in operation since 2008 with 45 members driving away in a brand new car and many more members winning surplus cash prizes. There are just 11% of our membership registered to enter our car draw. Taking this small
number of members into account and the increased regulation and compliance surrounding the operations of the Members Car Draw the Board have decided to cease its operations after this year’s AGM.
This is a decision our Board has not taken lightly. We would like to thank members for supporting our car draw down through the years and wish you the best of luck in our final draw live at our AGM on the 9th of December. We would also like to thank our local
motor dealerships, they have been most generous in their support throughout the lifetime of the draw.
Christmas has come early for 27 lucky Cara Credit Union Members
The Members Car Draw ended on a high as two lucky members picked up the keys for their new 2020 Hyundai Kona on Monday, December 16th.
Sarah O’ Halloran from Cahermoneen, Tralee was the October winner and the final winner, drawn live at the AGM, was Mary Spring from St. Brendan’s Park, Tralee.
Sarah and Mary weren’t the only member to benefit from the December Members Car Draw as the surplus funds from 2019 was raffled out to our car draw members in the form of cash prizes with 25 members each winning €1,000, just in time for Christmas.
