Cara Credit Union celebrates 50 years in Killorglin
There was a great turn out, young and old at Cara Credit Union’s Killorglin office in Mill Road, last Friday 19th of July as they celebrated their 50th Anniversary in Killorglin. They celebrated by having an open day in their Killorglin office. “Kenny the Clown” was on hand to entertain the children with his creative and impressive balloon modelling skills and for a special treat, free ice creams were handed out from the Ice Cream Van parked outside for the day that was in it. “Ellie the Elephant” Cara Credit Union’s Youth Mascot enjoyed the day taking photographs and handing out stickers and goodies to all her young credit union savers.
A “Down through the Years” Exhibition was also on display for members to take a trip down memory lane while they queued in the credit union for a chance to win €50 on the hour, every hour, throughout the day.
